MP TET (Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level examination conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government schools across Madhya Pradesh.
The exam is divided into three distinct categories based on the teaching grade:
Varg 1: High School Teachers (Classes 9 to 12)
Varg 2: Middle School Teachers (Classes 6 to 8)
Varg 3: Primary School Teachers (Classes 1 to 5)

To clear the MP TET and receive an eligibility certificate, candidates must secure the following minimum percentages:
General / Unreserved Category: 60% (90 out of 150 marks).
SC / ST / OBC / PWD Categories: 50% (75 out of 150 marks).
General Exam Pattern
The exam comprises 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking in the eligibility test.
Primary Level (Varg 3): Covers Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies (30 questions each).
High/Middle School Level (Varg 1 & 2): Divided into Part A (General Hindi, English, GK, Reasoning, and Pedagogy) and Part B (Core Subject-specific questions).
